Dynaplast® Base Alpha & Base Alpha LE
DynaPlast® Base Alpha is an alpha-hemihydrate gypsum manufactured from high-purity natural occurring white gypsum rock.
DynaPlast® is a versatile high strength; dense gypsum cement. It is an excellent base material that can be formulated to manufacture a variety of interior oriented construction & industrial compounds.
It can also be solid or hollow cast for a variety of creative applications with good finishing properties.
BASE ALPHA TYPICAL PHYSICAL PROPERTIES:
Use Consistency – 36-40 cc/100g
Set Time – 20 – 35 minutes
Maximum Expansion (%) – 0.40%
-325 Mesh – 91-95% passing
+50 Mesh – 0% retained
Compressive Strength – 6,000 psi
BASE ALPHA LE TYPICAL PHYSICAL PROPERTIES:
Use Consistency 34-36 cc/100g
Set Time – 30-45 minutes
Typical Expansion (%) – 0.09%
100 Mesh – 99.70-100% passing
Dry Compressive Strength – 9,000 psi
